Umhlanga hotels departure is 20 minutes before scheduled tour departure.

• Durban City Tour [SD-1] (09h00 - 12h00 Daily)
After departure, we drive along Durban's Golden Mile to the harbour entrance for a short stop. We then travel along the Victoria Embankment, passing the Vasco Da Gama clock, Dick King's statue and the Durban yacht club, to the Sugar Terminal and the residential suburbs of Berea and Morningside, the University of Natal campus, the Botanical Gardens and the Indian Market for our last stop, before continuing past the Post Office and the City Hall back to the hotel.

• Valley of a Thousand Hills Tour [SD-2] (14h00 - 17h00 Daily)
After departure, we travel along Jan Smuts Highway past 45th Cutting, the University of Durban Westville and the Kloof residential area to where we stop at the Assagai Safari Park, overlooking the Valley of a Thousand Hills. We then visit the crocodile farm and snake park before continuing to Phezulu, a small Zulu kraal, to experience the Zulu traditions and dancing, before returning home.

Full Day Tours in and around Durban

• Shakaland Zulu Experience [SD-5] (09h00-18h00 Tuesday, Friday, Sunday)
After departure we travel through the sugar cane fields of KwaZulu-Natal to the Zulu kraal Shakaland, near Eshowe, where we will be shown a visual explanation of the Zulu traditions, beer brewing, spear making, hut building, pottery making and weaving, Zulu etiquette and the layout of a Zulu kraal. After a display of dancing and singing we enjoy a traditional Zulu lunch, or cold buffet for the less adventurous, served in an open restaurant overlooking the Goedetrou Dam before returning home with unforgettable memories.

• Hluhluwe Game Reserve Tour [SD-6] (07h00 - 19h00 Tues, Friday, Sunday)
After departure we travel through the sugar cane fields of KwaZulu-Natal to the Hluhluwe Game Reserve, home of the rhino and part of the Umfolozi Park, where we enjoy a full day of BIG-5 game viewing, including lunch at the Hilltop camp, before returning home.

• Inland Safari Tour [SD-7] (09h00 - 18h00 Monday, Wednesday and Saturday)
After departure we travel through Hillcrest and Pietermaritzburg to the Game Valley Lodge for an afternoon game drive to view rhino, giraffe, buffalo, zebra sable antelope and many smaller animals and birds, before lunch at the lodge and the return trip home.
