4 Day Etosha Tour (STE-4)

Complimentary pick-up from central Windhoek hotels and Guesthouses.
We visit: Etosha National Park, private lodge outside the park, Lake Otjikoto and Okahandja.

Day 1 Wednesday
Depart Windhoek northbound. Short stop at Mount Etjo where further guests may join the tour. Continue via Outjo into Etosha National Park. Undertake first game drive in our vehicle en route to a restcamp. Dinner and overnight at one of the restcamps. (lunch not included)
Day 2 Thursday
Full day in the Park, exploring the waterholes along this enormous saltpan. Lunch stop at a rest camp. Dinner and overnight at one of the restcamps. (lunch not included)
Day 3 Friday
Full day in the Park. Your specialist guide will explain the complexities of managing this enormous reserve. Lunch stop at a restcamp (lunch not included). Depart late afternoon. Dinner and overnight Near Etosha National Park. (lunch not included)
Day 4 Saturday
We visit Lake Otjikoto and the mine museum in Tsumeb. Opportunity to join the group en route to Victoria Falls. Continue towards Windhoek via Otjiwarongo and Okahandja where we visit Herero graves and local handi-craft market. Tour ends in Windhoek late afternoon. (lunch not included)

5 Day Northern Namibia Tour (STN-5)

Complimentary pick-up from central Windhoek hotels and Guesthouses.

Day 1 Saturday
Depart Windhoek and travel via Gamsberg Pass. Enjoy packed lunch en route. See ‘Welwitschia Mirabilis’, said to grow older than 1000 years, and the Moon landscape. Dinner and overnight in Swakopmund.
Day 2 Sunday
Depart early morning on the salt road towards Henties Bay, past many pans and birdlife. Visit Twyfelfontein and Petrified Forest en route to Damaraland. Packed Lunch. Arrival at our remote lodge during the afternoon. Dinner and overnight in Damaraland.
Day 3 Monday
Full day outing with the specialist guides of the lodge. You will be introduced to the rich flora and fauna of this seemingly lifeless semi-desert and search for the elusive Desert Rhino and Desert Elephant. OPTIONAL: Visit the nomadic Ovahimba tribe (extra surcharge and for passenger’s own account). Return to the lodge late afternoon. Dinner and overnight in Damaraland.
Day 4 Tuesday
Depart Damaraland, a rare wilderness area, continue via Kamanjab to Outjo. Continue to private game farm for late afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight in the Otjiwarongo region. (lunch not included)
Day 5 Wednesday
Early morning game drive, breakfast thereafter. Meet Etosha Tour group and possibly continue to Etosha National Park. Return to Windhoek via Okahandja, and there visit Herero graves and local handicraft market. Tour ends in Windhoek during the afternoon. (lunch not included)

We visit the Kalahari Desert, Quiver Trees, Fish River Canyon, Luderitz and Kolmanskop, Namib Desert, Soussusvlei, Welwitschia, Moon Landscape and Swakopmund.
Day 1 Saturday
Depart Windhoek and drive via Rehoboth to Hardap Dam. Continue into Kalahari Desert for overnight. A scenic drive will be undertaken towards sunset (in open vehicles). Dinner and overnight Kalahari Desert Region. (lunch not included)
Day 2 Sunday
Drive through Kalahari and visit Kokerboom (Quiver tree) forest near Keetmanshoop. Stop in Keetmanshoop, to enjoy lunch. Continue via Naute Dam, arrive at Fish River Canyon and view most spectacular northern fringes. Dinner and overnight Fish River Canyon region. (lunch not included)
Day 3 Monday
Continue towards coast via Bethanie and Aus. Possibility to see desert horses on entering Namib Desert. Spectacular scenery en route to Lüderitz arriving at ± 12h00. Afternoon scenic drive around southern peninsula. Dinner and overnight Lüderitz. (lunch not included)
Day 4 Tuesday
Visit Kolmanskop, deserted diamond town and now a museum. Lunch (packed lunch), or at a farm. Visit Duwisib Castle during the afternoon. Continue towards Maltahöhe. Dinner and overnight near Malthahoe.
Day 5 Wednesday
Early start to visit Sossusvlei, there undertake scenic drive in 4x4 vehicles into the heart of the Namib Desert. Visit Sesriem Canyon later and Solitaire village en route past Naukluft Mountains. Dinner and overnight Naukluft Park Region. (lunch not included)
Day 6 Thursday
Drive through Kuiseb Canyon and continue towards coast. Packed lunch en route. See ‘Welwitschia Mirabilis’, a plant said to grow older than 1000 years. Visit Moon landscape and Walvis Bay before arriving in Swakopmund. Dinner and overnight in Swakopmund.
Day 7 Friday
Visit Walvis Bay Lagoon to view sea birds. Continue inland towards Usakos and Karibib, visit Henckerts Centre. Visit Herero graves and handicraft market in Okahandja. The STS-7 Tour ends on arrival in Windhoek, during the afternoon. (lunch not included)
